Betabox Hosting South Carolina Lt. Governor-Elect Pamela Evette For STEAM Event Focusing on Education & Careers

In News by Betabox

Betabox is thrilled to announce that Lt. Governor-Elect Pamela Evette will be joining us tomorrow morning, November 20th, 2018, at Dr. Phinnize J. Fisher Middle School. During the visit, the Lt. Governor-Elect will witness students participating in our Self Driving Car experience on campus, and how that workshop correlates directly to the future of the workforce. Our experiences are geared towards engaging students in emerging STEAM topics and technologies, and we look forward to having the Lt. Governor-Elect onsite to see the impact we are making across the state.
Lt. Governor-Elect Evette brings an invaluable perspective from the private sector, having served as President & CEO of Quality Business Solutions, and we are excited for her to bring her wealth of knowledge from the private sector to the Governor’s office. Betabox is excited to be working with Lt. Governor-Elect Evette to help close the skills gap between industry and education in South Carolina, and to create meaningful partnerships between the private and public sectors.

“I am incredibly excited to be joining Betabox tomorrow morning at Dr. Phinnize J. Fisher Middle School to experience first hand the great work they are doing to get our South Carolina students interested in STEAM and preparing them for the workforce of tomorrow.” – Lt. Governor-Elect Pamela Evette

Thank you to Lt. Governor-Elect Evette for joining us tomorrow and Dr. Phinnize J. Fisher Middle School for hosting the Betabox event!
