Raleigh, NC – November 1st, 2017 – Betabox, Inc. announced a new strategic investment today that will enable the growing education startup to expand into new markets beyond the southeastern United States.
The new financing has been led by a Houston, TX based group of angel investors including Toral & Palak Pasad and David Hwang. Toral Pasad will lead Betabox Inc’s expansion efforts in the Texas and Gulf Coast regions.

Today, Betabox offers an onsite field trip service to K12 schools and universities throughout the Southeastern US. The company has also launched ‘Powered by Betabox’ which makes it possible for industries to partner with Betabox to co-deploy hands-on educational experiences in local communities utilizing Betabox Mobile Tech Labs.
With this new investment, the company will be evolving its product line to more deeply support the efforts of schools and districts to not only create, but also sustain their hands-on learning programs and curriculums.
